New from Aagoo
New from Aagoo records, an ad in Wire Magazine:

A (rejected) commercial for a snack chip. Apparently, we misspelled the name of the chip (it actually has three Rs and four Ts).
A three second clip designed to loop ten times. Sound design was never completed.

Another mini-documentary about process shot at Double Triple. We didn't make this one, but the filmmakers used our space and it features dear friends Montgomery Knott and Adam Wiltze.
We're waiting for Herzog to call and book the space and are working on some cave paintings to sweeten the deal.

A picture of the studio by drastic gazigner Evey Niemeyer, age 3:
Note the Double Triple logo (top center), the downstairs (top left), the place where Dan (Forbes) works (center), and the window (bottom center).

Tour poster for friend Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie's (Stars of the Lid, Dead Texan, etc) new project, A Winged Victory for the Sullen. A three color silkscreen -- a difficult print pulled off wonderfully by Austin's Industry Printing.
Adam requested something with either tennis or naked 70s ladies. This is a naked 70s lady made of little tennis balls, sort of. Actually, it's like their music, the effect is clear only at a distance, sort of.

The DVD of Beats Rhymes & Life is out now. A great movie, but of special note: the extras feature a making-of-the-animation mini-documentary starring James Blagden & Phillip Niemeyer filmed at Double Triple's Brooklyn studio. Michael Rapaport butts in to say nice things, too.

Double Triple had the great honor of creating event motion graphics for the Ford Foundation's recent conference on Human Rights in a Time of Change:
Video of the entire event can be seen here.
